Game draft

What do I want

To create an SDK and template with which users can create games for their community.

Why discord

Discord is currently one of the major social gaming platforms. It provides a stable and user-friendly space that allows easy implementation of bots and add-ons. But most importantly, discord is an unexplored environment in terms of crypto gaming (even though there are many crypto communities). Breakthrough in discord environment would mean opening options for other developers to make a side game for any blockchain-based AAA game.

Basic concept

-Using discord bot to communicate with the server -Using special mod to associate discord user with owned NFTs -NFT market - used for P2P transactions and listing for sell -In-game currencies used only for seasonal markets without money value

Testing network

-Using centralized hardware server for testing purposes -Will lately host the test game on decentralized networking solutions - paid with market transactions

Biggest problems

While the idea of discord games seems interesting, it has many major difficulties.

  1. Asset management - Usually cryptocurrency is managed through specialized wallets. This allows owners full consent on transactions. However, does not have an implementation of a blockchain wallet. Therefore, to not lose any security due to sidechaining and transferring as well as to be in a relatively easy development scheme, game assets will have to be listed on third-party DEX like NFTTrade, which allow NFT p2p trading and selling for cryptocurrencies.

  2. Regulations - FATF regulations and trade restrictions aren't great for small projects, as we cannot bring any KYC to those small projects. I hope the project will be completely decentralized and living only on the chain but don't promise anything.

  3. Human barrier - It is possible that I am trying to accomplish ( for me) an impossible task.

Disclaimer

The project should be taken just as an art collection. There is no guarantee of realising this concept.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me on discord or Twitter ( keep in mind that other forms of approach can be left unnoticed). I am not good at explaining my thoughts, so any feedback is appreciated.
